Southmont Education Fund
About
The Southmont Education Fund was established at the Montgomery County Community Foundation by Superintendent Dr. Shawn Greiner in March 2018. This is an endowed fund that will provide support to students, staff, and families of Southmont Schools for many years to come.
The Montgomery County Community Foundation is a local nonprofit organization focused on improving the quality of life in Montgomery County. All gifts to the Southmont Education Fund through Montgomery County Community Foundation qualify for maximum tax deductibility for income gift and state tax purposes.
Anyone can make a gift to this fund at any time. Commonly, gifts are given in memory or in honor of someone. Special events such as Teacher Appreication Week, Giving Tuesday, holidays, graduation, and reunions are also great opportunities to make a contribution. Honorees or their loved ones will be notified of your gift (amount excluded) and receive a special Mountie Proud Honor Roll certificate. All gifts will be recognized in materials published by the Montgomery County Community Foundation, in addition to the Southmont Schools website.
