AYS After School Care

Southmont Schools are proud to announce that we have partnered with AYS (At Your School) to offer After School Care for students beginning the 2019-2020 school year.  The program will be hosted at New Market Elementary School, but transportation will be offered to students from Ladoga and Walnut Elementary Schools as well.  AYS is a trusted central-Indiana partner that specializes in providing high-quality, educational and safe programs for students outside of school hours.  For more information about the program you may contact AYS at 317-283-3817 or Mrs. Melissa Norman, Textbook and Curriculum Materials Coordinator, at 765-866-0350 x258 or melissa.norman@southmont.k12.in.us.

How Do I Enroll My Child?

Enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year is completed online at https://www.ayskids.org/enroll1920/.

How Much Does it Cost For This Service?

The cost for enrollment in the program is based upon how often the service is utilized.  Additionally, there is a one-time enrollment fee for each child who attends the program.  Transportation to the program will be provided by the school district at no cost to parents.

  Full-Time
(4-5 days/wk)
Part-Time
(1-3 days/wk)
PM Only $55 per child $40 per child

Enrollment Fee (per child through May 31):  $10.00

Enrollment Fee (per child starting June 1):  $35.00

What Does the Program Offer?

AYS offers a comprehensive program, offering children the opportunity to learn, grow, play and stay safe in the school environment and all led by high engaged staff.  The curriculum focuses on Health, Literacy, STEM and SEL (Social and Emotional Learning), and includes:

  • Active Play
  • Health Snacks
  • Homework Support
  • Enrichment Activities

When is the Program Offered?

The after-school program will be offered on all regular school days.  Should school be cancelled for any reason, the AYS program would not be open.
